Thomas Schlesser, born in Paris in 1977, is an art historian and writer. He taught art history at the École polytechnique in Paris and served as director of the Fondation Hartung-Bergman in Antibes. In addition to other books on art history, he published a biography of the Norwegian painter Anna-Eva Bergman. His debut novel, *Mona’s Eyes*, has been translated into more than 30 languages and was shortlisted for France’s Grand Prix RTL-Lire.
