Alisha Bionda was born in Düsseldorf and is known as an author of fantasy and series fiction. Her first fantasy novels were published by Ueberreuter in 1999 and 2000 as part of the “Edition Märchenmond” series. In 2005, her vampire series “Wolfgang Hohlbeins Schattenchronik,” centered on the vampire Dilara, began; its original run concluded with volume 11. In 2007, Bionda co-founded the literary portal LITERRA with Michael Beyeler and Florian Hilleberg. She studied, among other subjects, literary history, stylistics, novel writing, dramaturgy, and journalism.
