Alexandra Ndolo was born in Germany to a Polish mother and a Kenyan father. She began competing in athletics at the age of four and discovered her enthusiasm for sport early on. From 2014, she was the first Black woman to join the A squad of Germany’s women’s épée national team; she later competed for Kenya. Ndolo participated in the Olympic Games, became a world championship runner-up, and won several European Championship medals. In 2022, she was appointed a reading ambassador for the Stiftung Lesen foundation.
