Daniela Kunkel

Daniela Kunkel was born in 1983 in the Lower Rhine region of Germany. She studied social pedagogy in Cologne and design with a focus on illustration at Münster University of Applied Sciences. Before working as an illustrator, she spent several years working with children and young people in a social-psychiatric setting. From 2013 onward, she illustrated and wrote numerous children’s books, including The Little We, which originated as her graduation project.
