Dagmar Geisler

Dagmar Geisler was born in 1958 in Siegen, Westphalia. She studied graphic design in Wiesbaden and worked, among other roles, as an illustrator for the German broadcaster ZDF. She later published numerous picture books, children’s books and nonfiction titles as both author and illustrator. Her best-known series include the Wanda books, the Chaos Comics featuring Luis, and The Inkblots. As a counselor for art therapy, she also worked with art-therapeutic approaches. Her books address interpersonal relationships and difficult subjects such as grief, divorce and abuse.
