Alexander H. Schwan

Alexander H. Schwan (born 1973) is a dance scholar and Protestant theologian with a doctorate in philosophy. His research has addressed the role of religiosity and spirituality in modern dance, contemporary dance aesthetics, and the relationship between dance studies and art studies. The dissertation underlying his book Schrift im Raum received the Tiburtius Prize from the universities of Berlin.
