Alexander Doering, born in 1974, is a German actor and voice actor. He became known as the German voice of Merry Brandybuck in the »Lord of the Rings« film trilogy. From 2015 onward, he voiced Poe Dameron in the »Star Wars« films. Doering has also contributed his voice to audiobooks and audio dramas.
