Alain Badiou

Alain Badiou, born in Rabat in 1937, was a philosopher, mathematician, and writer. He taught philosophy at the École normale supérieure in Paris, Paris VIII-Vincennes University, and the Collège international de philosophie. Badiou was also politically active and helped found the Organisation politique. His work includes philosophical writings, plays, and novels.
