Aiki Mira

Aiki Mira studied media communications in London and Bremen and researched youth culture and gaming. Their debut novel, “Titans Kinder: Eine Space-Utopie,” was published in 2022. Mira has also published novels, short stories and essays in venues including Exodus, phantastisch!, Queer*Welten, c’t and Tor Online. In 2022, three of Mira’s short stories were shortlisted for both the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize and the German Science Fiction Prize; “Utopie27” won the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize. Together with Uli Bendick and Mario Franke, Mira edited the anthology “Am Anfang war das Bild,” which placed second in the 2022 Kurd-Laßwitz Prize. Mira received the 2023 Kurd-Laßwitz Prize for “Neongrau” and the Chrysalis Award from the European Science Fiction Society.
