Zara Zerbe was born in Hamburg-Harburg in 1989 and studied literature and media studies. Her story “Limbus” received the Neue Prosa Schleswig-Holstein Prize in 2018/2019 and was published by Sukultur Verlag in 2020. Her novella “Das Orakel von Bad Meisenfeld” was published by stirnholz Verlag in 2021. In 2022, she received the Arts Promotion Prize of the State of Schleswig-Holstein. “Phytopia Plus” is her debut novel.
