Aidin Halimi

Aidin Halimi, born in 1981, was born and raised in Iran. He emigrated to Germany at the age of 16. He studied German literature and history and worked as an author, poetry slammer, and comedian. In 2021, he won the Berlin-Brandenburg Poetry Slam Championship, having been runner-up in 2019. His texts appeared in numerous anthologies. He published a collection of his writing under the title “Hinundherkunft”; “In den Flügeln das Licht” was his first novel.
