Reviewed by HelenBEAUTIFUL. Okay yes—it took me a bit longer to get through because it’s kinda complex and tangled like a time-traveling spaghetti bowl of emotions and metaphors. But once you’re in? You’re IN. Red and Blue, on opposite sides of a war, sending love letters through time like the most extra long-distance relationship in literary history? Iconic. Poetic. Devastating. Glorious. This book said ‘let’s weaponize yearning’ and I ate it up. Would I die for Red and Blue? Yes. Would I understand half of what’s going on while doing it? Unclear. Still worth it.
