Yawn.... Definitely not the Pillars of the Earth
Honestly, I loved it. Even though some scenes are really emotionally draining. Some intimate scenes are written so badly and disgustingly that I shook my head several times. Nonetheless I was fully drawn into the story from the first page. The main characters are mostly written in a very relatable way and I really got engaged in their story.
