Reviewed by DebbieSecond best book of the series (right behind The Butcher's Masquerade). It was so intense and showed for the first time how deep the story's actually going. I know a lot think the worldbuilding (train tracks) was to confusing. I cannot relate. Actually I thought it genius and so much fun!
Reviewed by LinaI enjoyed this book, but the story was a bit overshadowed by the level construction. The character development was nice, and it had a lot of entertaining sequences. Sadly the style of the level took way too much space in the story and was so unclear that at some point I started to just skimming the explanations of what is where and how and who to pick up when with what. The big plot twist around why the level is the way it is couldn’t hit me out of the same reason. I just wanted the level to be done 😅 The humor was less in this book, which isn’t bad, but just a bit unexpected. Especially all the AI-commentaries on everything made it so fun to read and in this book it was lacking a bit.
