Rezension von LottiZwei wahnsinnig gute Autoren und sie haben eine tolle Geschichte geschrieben, ohne Frage. Allerdings läuft sie insgesamt sehr zähflüssig vor sich hin und ist (auf Englisch) sehr anstrengend zu lesen. Ich habe immer wieder ein paar Tage/Wochen pausiert. Die dazugehörige Serie ist tatsächlich sehr nah an den Ereignissen im Buch und wirklich nur sehr zu empfehlen!
Rezension von MerlinWhen I ordered this book online, I did it without knowing anything about it. I didn't know when it was written, how popular it was/is or what an impact it had and still has on people of all ages. I honestly just bought it because I was buying every Neil Gaiman book I could possibly find at the time; and since I've read a lot of Terry Pratchett books when I was younger, I was convinced that I would like 'Good Omens' - and I did! I didn't just like it but I have fallen head over heels in love with it. The book made me laugh out loud and at the same time question everything I had believed to know about stories which discuss the epic battle between good and evil. Since 2018 marks the 30th anniversary of the book's original idea, I've come too late to get involved in lengthy discussions about the loveable characters and the incomparable plot. Nonetheless do I believe that 'Good Omens' hasn't lost any of it's relevance and I will most definitely recommend it to anyone who is willing to let me talk about books! <b>Das a very good book</b>
