Rezension von FynxOh Kyssenna- the women you are!! I really really enjoyed this book. The read was very easy and although there were alot of God names and stuff it was good to follow. I found myself enjoying the world alot, although it is very cruel. The characters were good to follow and made decisions I was rooting for. Kyssen (which is close enough to the German word Kissen - meaning pillow) had me weak. Let me tell you I LOVE A GIRLBOSS AND MY QUEEN IS ONE. She gave me Gerald (Witcher) vibes, which 👌✨️ugh, I love that man sm 💫💖 She defently was a strong personality and I live her found family alot. Elogast is just a cutie. He had me screaming LMAO! [I was so rooting for him and Kyssen] he gave the whole story such a warm and soft telling. I really loved how he was able to get through to kyssen and make her open up and confront her feelings. Inara & her little god were my biggest suprise. I grew emotionally so attached to her. While everyone had a dramatic backstory hers felt so touching. She was this shielded child that lost it all. You felt her grow and blossom and I just love that alot. While with skedi I had this hate/love relationship. He is well written just an annoying little thing.... but that's why I love him?! Anyways- I really did enjoy this book and im very excited for Book 2&3! Its a 5/5 ☆ read for me personally 🫶

Rezension von LumynoxI loved the writing style and the variety of personalities. It really pulls you into a completely new world. Kissen especially has such a badass vibe. At some points it can be a bit hard to keep reading because the suspense drops off, but overall it’s absolutely worth it. I can’t wait to start the second book!
Rezension von Emma❊ 7/10 ❊ ∗ good world building ∗ ∗ interesting characters ∗ ∗ not your typical trope ∗ It took me a moment to get warm with the story but I generally loved the idea of gods being an active part of the world. Although not my favorite read this year, Inara’s storyline was interesting enough to keep me going. The ending had me in a chokehold and I absolutely loved how the cliffhanger made me start the second book within the same minute.
