Was mir sehr gut gefallen hat war, dass am Anfang wirklich noch einmal sehr genau und ausführlich erklärt wurde, was in Band 1 passiert ist. Es sind bestimmt 20 Seiten nur Rückblick, woran man merkt, wie komplex das Werk wirklich ist. Aber so konnte ich wirklich gut einsteigen und wusste auch wieder, wer wer ist und wer was kann. Durch die Frage in Band 1, wer nicht zur Initiation zugelassen wird herrschte noch Sehr viel Spannung, doch in Band 2 fühlt es sich nur noch so an, als würde jeder an seiner Forschungsarbeit arbeiten. Der wissenschaftliche Teil bleibt hier auch auf der Strecke und irgendwie vermisste ich auch die tollen Beschreibungen aus Band 1. Oft wusste ich auch nicht, ob man in der Realität, oder in einer anderen Ebene war. Das hat mich einfach total verwirrt. Der Handlungsstrang, der mich am meisten unterhalten hat, war der von Libby, denn der war super spannend. Die Verbindung, die ich in Band 1 zu den Charakteren noch so sehr spüren konnte ist leider verpufft. Bis auf Libby. Ab und zu gab es auch noch ein paar echt witzige Dialoge, aber einfach nichts im Vergleich zu Band 1. Ich bin mir noch nicht sicher, ob ich Band 3 auch noch lesen möchte. Einerseits bin ich sehr interessiert an dem Antagonisten, den man in diesem Teil kennenlernt, aber alles in allem fehlte mir der Unterhaltungswert in dieser Fortsetzung.

Reviewed by Anna KuIch würde eigentlich 4,5 sagen, da manchmal der Fokus im Plot bzw in den Schilderungen etwas verloren geht. Im ersten Teil aber ebenso, wenn nicht sogar mehr, weil hier im zweiten Band die Beziehungen und Hintergründe schon bekannt sind
