Reviewed by Valentina StevicWhat an intense story! 🫣 I was really excited for a while, but also confused about where the story would lead. I also needed some time to get into the story. But around the halfway point, it got really exciting, and a lot of things finally started to make sense. I love the Shadowhunter universe, and I'm so happy to be back. I also love how Cassandra Clare connects her books. The writing style was, as always, fantastic, and I'm looking forward to continuing the series! 🥰

Emma, our first female mc who is a trained Shadowhunter and Jules our first male mc who I could identify a lot to. I’m enjoying the faerie plot line a lot. I remember thinking back then when reading TMI that I wished for a deeper dive into the faerie court and I’m glad we got that here. Reviewed by AnnaIch hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich nach so vielen Jahren wieder zurück in die Welt der Schattenjäger kehren würde. Und doch bin ich hier und hatte so viel Spaß. Emma, Julian und die Kinder haben mein Herz im Sturm erobert und ich habe sowohl gelacht als auch geweint. Ich habe mitgerätselt, die Twists nicht kommen sehen und bin nun, am Ende des ersten Teils genauso am Boden zerstört wie die Protagonisten. Die Schattenjäger-Welt ist irgendwie bittersüß.. So viel Leidenschaft, so viel Kampfgeist und überall Schmerz und Verletzungen. Egal ob körperlich oder seelisch.. Man kann nur mitleiden. Cassandra Clare kann etwas, das wohl niemand so gut kann: Geschichten schreiben, die einem das Herz von Anfang an brechen.
