Rook and Rebel felt exactly like the old Wattpad story that I liked read. Not terrible, not amazing — just pure vibes, chemistry, chaos, and plot holes held together by tension and attractive people making questionable decisions. Half the time I was entertained, the other half I was like “wait… that literally makes no sense.” and “ why the fuck would you think that is a good idea?!” But somehow I still enjoyed it. The writing wasn’t incredible, but it was fun and easy to binge. If 13-year-old me had found this on Wattpad at 2am, I would’ve eaten it up and ignored every red flag in the plot.
