Rezension von Fabi🎀I read her other book, little stranger, a few years ago, and let me tell you, both are bad. genuinely, I didn't enjoy it, I forced myself through it, time jumps, and sudden change of place, no logic whatsoever when it comes to the FMC and the MMC is just a weak copy and paste of her MMC from little stranger.... I dunno... hoped for more..
Rezension von Kath <3i hate tobias idgaf😭 yes he has mental health problems, changed for the better but i still hate him even tho he was a goat in eod. tho i loved how the book did not romantacize his actions at all and the author often slipped in a “i shouldn’t feel this way because it’s wrong” to aria’s inner monolouge, reminding the reader that tobias’ actions are NOT to be excused despite the narrator forgiving and being empathetic towards him. plus i love how they didn’t officially end up together (well sort of lol, since they are close in eod. but by the end it’s also mentioned by kade they are keeping more distance from each other). i really would’ve hated a happy ending for a victim x predator trope

The ending was so depressing just because they didn’t end up together but it made so much sense and this is (imo) a very realistic depiction of a dark romance story line like that. Aria is so strong for being able to accept everything that has happened and still talk to Tobias. She’s better than me. And I also feel so sorry for both of them. Idk I just love how Tobias character was written because it made so much sense. The way they grew and developed and everything. Wow. Very dark and obviously no happy ending but I’d still recommend it.
