Reviewed by dajameepEs ist wirklich interessant zu lesen. Aber irgendwie recht langatmig. Als das Kind des Hauptcharakters stirbt, wird sehr lange und sehr ausführlich auf die Aspekte des Trauerns eingegangen, was solche starke Trauer mit einem macht, wie es einen verändert. Auch wenn diese Trauer wichtig ist, um das weitere Geschehen des Buches einzuleiten, hat es für mich den Handlungsstrang sehr stark negativ beeinflusst. Ich weiß nicht, ob es daran liegt, dass ich die allgemeine Handlung des Buchs schon vor dem Lesen kannte - aber es fühlte sich so an, als ob die Spannung die ganze Zeit vorangetrieben wurde, um etwas Großartiges zu offenbaren. Nur leider fühlte sich dieser Höhepunkt der Geschichte nicht seinem Spannungsaufbau gerecht-werdend an… Dennoch ist es ein good read!
