Rezension von LeaDie Geschichte beginnt nach einem dramatischen Schiffsunglück, bei dem der 16-jährige Pi Patel als einziger Überlebender auf einem Rettungsboot strandet – zusammen mit einem Tiger, einer Hyäne, einem Zebra und einem Orang-Utan. Doch das eigentliche Abenteuer geht weit über das bloße Überleben hinaus. Pi muss sich nicht nur mit den Tieren auseinandersetzen, sondern auch mit seinem eigenen Glauben und der Frage, was Realität eigentlich bedeutet. Es wird schnell klar, dass diese Geschichte mehr ist als ein spannender Survival-Plot – sie ist eine tiefere Auseinandersetzung mit der Bedeutung des Lebens und des Glaubens.
