Rezension von JennyHabe bislang nur "People we meet on vacation" von ihr gelesen und irgendwie das gleiche Level an Humor erwartet. Ohne diese laugh-out-loud Momente war es mir persönlich einfach deutlich zu kitschig. Trotzdem teils nette Urlaubsfeelings und bin gespannt auf die Verfilmung.
Rezension von MelAuch wenn das Grundgerüst für mich nicht ganz einleuchtend war, mochte ich den Stil, die beiden Zeitstränge der Erzählung und die Darstellung freundschaftlicher und romantischer Liebe. Dass beides auf Distanz viel Arbeit bedeutet, dass frühere Erfahrungen diese Beziehungen prägen und dass Streiten erst gelernt werden muss. Das perfekte Sommerbuch zum Versinken - wenn Romance, dann Emily Henry!

Ich liebe es einfach, dass man das Gefühl hat, es hier mit richtigen Erwachsenen zu tun zu haben, wo eine Trennung nicht auf meinem mini Missverständnis beruht. Tolle Romance, lustige Dialoge, geniale Second Chance!
