Rezension von SelinaEin Happy End, das auf sich warten lässt 😮💨 Mein erstes Buch von Abby Jimenez und ich mochte es echt gern! Ein Tierarzt, der optisch und charakterlich als menschlicher Rhysand beschrieben wird? JA! Dass Tiere durchgängig eine Rolle spielen, hat mir richtig gut gefallen 🐕 Die Fernbeziehung der beiden fühlte sich sehr nachvollziehbar an und obwohl echt ernste Themen wie Demenz, Verlust und schwierige Familiengeschichten vorkommen, ist alles mit ganz viel Herz und Humor erzählt. Der Stil ist modern, leicht zu lesen und trotzdem emotional 🥹 Was mich ein bisschen gestört hat: Man weiß von Anfang an, dass die beiden eigentlich zusammengehören. Es sind “nur” die Umstände, die’s schwer machen. Das hat mir ein bisschen die Spannung genommen. Aber: Das Happy End ist super romantisch 💕

And then all of the sudden a bright blue car from your youth appears and you know something again. You remember, and it's the only thing in color." The dementia parts really broke me! But I was not a big fan of the insta love between Samantha and Xavier and their long-distance relationship, even though I actually really love them together.
