First-Time Caller
von B. K. Borison
"Aiden Valentine has a he's fallen out of love with love. And as the host of Baltimore's romance hotline, that's a bit of a problem. But when a young girl calls in to the station asking for dating advice for her mom, the interview goes viral, thrusting Aiden and Heartstrings into the limelight. Lucie Stone thought she was doing just fine. She has a good job; an incredible family; and a smart, slightly devious kid. But when all of Baltimore is suddenly scrutinizing her love life--or lack thereof--she begins to question if she's as happy as she thought. Maybe a little more romance wouldn't be such a bad thing. Everyone wants Lucie to find her happy ending... even the handsome, temperamental man calling the shots. But when sparks start to fly behind the scenes, Lucie must make the final call between the radio-sponsored happily ever after or the man in the headphones next to her."--

⭐️ 3.5 / 5 "Love doesn’t always arrive on time — sometimes, it calls in late." A tender, slow-burn romance sparked by an unexpected call between a skeptical late-night host and a deserving single mom. Though built on familiar tropes, the story is rich with witty banter, found family warmth, and a quest for soft second chances. It’s not aiming to surprise, but to comfort with genuine heart and charm. 🎙️ Mood: Heartfelt • Comforting • Bittersweet
4,5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨️ I really enjoyed reading this book.
After reading the first 40 pages, I actually considered putting the book down for good. But slowly and quietly, I fell in love with the Lucie and Aiden and their story. I loved the dual POV and especially the development of Aiden‘s thoughts and feelings. His commitment issues would normally have put me off, but this way I could feel for him. Overall, this book felt like a warm (sometimes even hot!) blanket and I‘m really looking forward to the next book in this series.
This book was for me a solid 3.5/5⭐️. I loved both MMC and FMC and especially their banter and chemistry. It was a typical RomCom which I adore. And Aiden most definitely made it on my favourite MMCs list. I can't wait to read more from this author.
I would give 3.5-4 ⭐️ I really liked the characters but at some point the story lasted wayyy to long and they didn’t act like there age… BUT I really liked the romance cause it was so pure and real that I fell in love with aiden valen and lucie stone
