Reviewed by NoraThis book and I were never a good match. It took me two years to finish because I kept setting it aside. At first, I thought the issue was entirely on my end, and part of it probably was. But in hindsight, I also think the writing itself is weak. It never managed to hold my attention or draw me into the story.
