Born in Warsaw in 1964, Zyta Rudzka is a Polish writer, playwright, poet and screenwriter. She studied psychology at the Academy of Catholic Theology and worked as a psychotherapist. Her novels include “White Clichés” (1993), “Mikveh” (1999), “Bond’s Girl” (2004) and “The Most Beautiful of Dr. Josef” (2006). She made her debut as a playwright in 2005 and received the Gdynia Drama Award in 2011 for her play “Cold Buffet.” Her poetry, novels, plays and screenplays have been translated into several languages.
