Ying-Tai Lung (born 1952) is a Taiwanese essayist and cultural critic. She taught at the University of Hong Kong and Heidelberg University. From 2012 to 2014, she served as Taiwan’s first minister of culture. Through her writing, she contributed to Taiwan’s democratization. Lung has two sons from a marriage to a German.
