Xavier Le Clerc

Xavier Le Clerc (born 1979) was born in Kabylia, Algeria, and grew up in Normandy near Caen. He studied sociology and literature and worked in the fashion industry. Under his birth name, Hamid Aït-Taleb, he published several short stories and his first novel. His second novel, *Cent vingt francs*, was published under the name Xavier Le Clerc and recalls his great-grandfather.
