Christiane Kayser

Christiane Kayser (born 1954 in Luxembourg) studied economics in Paris, as well as education, sociology and psychology in Marburg and Cologne. A specialist in the countries of the Global South, she undertook regular work assignments in Central and West Africa from 1984 onward. She also translated scientific texts and literary works, including those by Tahar Ben Jelloun, Vautrin, Tonino Benacquista, Fouad Laroui, Boualem Sansal and Jean Genet.
