Wu Yimeng

Yimeng Wu is a designer, illustrator and book artist. She studied at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris and the Berlin University of the Arts. She founded the design studio Studio Wu, whose work focuses on intercultural design. Her artistic practice has encompassed illustration, type design, book art and spatial installations. Her work has received distinctions including the German Design Award, the »Schönste Deutsche Bücher« award and Taiwan’s Golden Pin Award; she was also nominated for the Young Illustrators Award. For Verlagshaus Berlin, she illustrated »Chinabox. Neue Lyrik aus der Volksrepublik« (2017).
