Wolfgang Schardt

Wolfgang Schardt was a German food photographer. He worked from a Hamburg studio for magazines, book publishers, and advertising clients. His preferred subjects included food, still lifes, and interiors. His modern, minimalist style was characterized by a strong sense of aesthetics and an emphasis on color and light. Cooking and culinary subjects were also important to him personally; he particularly enjoyed using vegetables, herbs, and fruit from his own garden. Together with Anne-Katrin, he developed the project veggielicious.de.
