Wolfgang Iser

Wolfgang Iser (1926–2007) was a German literary scholar and co-founder of the research group Poetik und Hermeneutik. From 1966 to 1991, he held the chair of English studies at the University of Konstanz. Until 2005, he taught at the University of California, Irvine.
