Wolfgang Butt

Wolfgang Butt (born 1937) is a German translator from Swedish and other Nordic languages. He was a university lecturer in Scandinavian studies for many years and also published Scandinavian literature through a small independent press. From 1995 onward, he worked as a freelance translator. Authors whose works he translated into German include Per Olov Enquist, Henning Mankell, Arne Dahl, David Lagercrantz, and Zlatan Ibrahimović.
