William McDonough

William McDonough was a professor of architecture at the University of Virginia and is regarded as a pioneer of environmentally sustainable and human-centered architecture. In 1996, he received the Award for Sustainable Development, a distinction presented by the U.S. president for outstanding achievements in environmental protection.
