Wilhelm Bode

Wilhelm Bode (born 1947) is a lawyer and forestry scholar. He first headed the Saarland state forestry administration and later its highest nature conservation authority. Bode has published numerous books and articles on the future of forests, hunting, and forestry. His publications include *Die Waldwende*, co-authored with Martin von Hohnhorst, as well as *Naturnahe Waldwirtschaft*, *Hirsche*, and *Das Porträt der Tannen*.
