wilfried ihrig

Wilfried Ihrig, born in 1953 in Michelstadt in the Odenwald, studied literary studies and earned his doctorate in Heidelberg. He worked as a lecturer, literary scholar, writer, editor and translator. His publications include the study “Literarische Avantgarde und Dandysmus. Eine Studie zur Prosa von Carl Einstein bis Oswald Wiener” (1988), the three-volume edition “Günter Bruno Fuchs, Werke” (1990–1995), and, as co-editor, “Ick kieke, staune, wundre mir. Berlinerische Gedichte von 1830 bis heute” (2017) and “Die Morgendämmerung der Worte. Moderner Poesie-Atlas der Roma und Sinti” (2018). He also published poetry, essays, encyclopedia articles and literary translations.
