Wiebke Lorenz

Wiebke Lorenz studied German and English literature and trained as a screenwriter and journalist. She published psychological thrillers including »Alles muss versteckt sein« and »Einer wird sterben«. She also wrote under the pen name Charlotte Lucas and, together with her sister, under the name Anne Hertz. These novels were translated into numerous languages, some were adapted for film, and they regularly appeared on the SPIEGEL bestseller list. The idea for »Einer wird sterben« came from a news report about a couple who sat in a car for days without getting out.
