Wiebke Krabbe

Wiebke Krabbe studied English and Romance languages at the University of Hamburg and began her career in the magazine editorial department of a British publishing house in Hamburg. During a family leave beginning in the mid-1980s, she took on her first translation assignments, including magazine articles, children’s books and two crime novels. In 1991, she began working full-time as a freelance translator. In 2001, she obtained the Diploma in Translation from the Institute of Linguists.
