Volkhard Bode

Born in 1944, Volkhard Bode initially trained as a turner before studying German at the University of Berlin. From 1970 to 1974, he worked as a dramaturge at Deutscher Fernsehfunk, followed by work as an editor and reporter at Berliner Rundfunk, where he focused on cultural topics. From 1991 onward, Bode worked as a freelance journalist for radio and specialist magazines. He also produced several radio programmes about Peenemünde.
