Volker Dehs

Volker Dehs, born in Bremen in 1964, studied Romance languages and literature, German studies, art history and philosophy at the University of Göttingen and the University of Nantes. He works as a literary scholar, translator and writer, and has illustrated some of his publications. In 1992, he received the University of Göttingen Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement and the Cultural Prize of the Göttingen district. His notable works include the critical biography “Jules Verne. Eine kritische Biographie,” published in 2005.
