Vivien Goldman

Vivien Goldman was born in London in 1954. She co-founded the post-punk band The Flying Lizards and worked as a music journalist, documentary filmmaker, and songwriter, including for Massive Attack. She also wrote books on music history, including works about Bob Marley, Kid Creole, and Afrobeat. She taught at New York University, where her subjects included punk, Afrobeat, and reggae.
