Virginie Augustin

Virginie Augustin (born 1973) was born in Chatou, west of Paris. She began her career at Disney animation studios, working among other projects on Hercules and Tarzan, and later contributed to the animated productions W.i.t.c.h., Dragon Hunters and Corto Maltese. In 2004, she became the artist of the comic series Alim the Tanner, written by Wilfrid Lupano. She subsequently contributed to several collective albums and drew The Shadow Realm of Troy in 2011 from a script by Scotch Arleston. In 2013, she created the two-part comic series Whaligoe with writer Yann.
