Vigdis Hjorth

Vigdis Hjorth, born in Oslo in 1959, is a Norwegian writer. She has received, among other honors, Norway’s Critics’ Prize and the Booksellers’ Prize, and has been nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize, the National Book Award, and the International Booker Prize. Her novels published in German include *Die Wahrheiten meiner Mutter*, *Ein falsches Wort*, and *Wiederholung*. She received the Critics’ Prize in 2024 for *Wiederholung*.
