Verena Duregger

Verena Duregger (born 1980) is from Sand in Taufers in South Tyrol. She studied law in Innsbruck and Genoa but decided against a career as a lawyer. After training as an editor in Munich, she worked for the Münchner Abendzeitung. From 2010 onward, she worked as a freelance journalist and author. Her first book, “Die Pusterer Buben. Eine Südtiroler Heimatgeschichte,” was published in 2014.
