Vera Fischer (born 1983) is a German author. She studied theatre, film and television studies at the University of Cologne and earned a doctorate in media and cultural studies at the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC) at Justus Liebig University Giessen. For her study *Vom langen Jetzt*, she conducted research in the Stanford University archives and in San Francisco.
