Vanessa Giese

Vanessa Giese (born 1978) is a journalist with a doctorate and a business consultant. She worked as an online project editor and began blogging under the name “Frau Nessy” in 2006. During her studies, she became acquainted with the Rhineland before developing a strong interest in the Ruhr region. In 2013, she published the nonfiction book “Da gewöhnze dich dran. Wie ich mein Herz an den Pott verlor.” “Die Frau, die den Himmel eroberte” is her debut novel.
