Alexandros Stefanidis

Alexandros Stefanidis (born 1975) studied German, political science and sociology in Heidelberg, Thessaloniki and Toronto before attending the German School of Journalism in Munich. He worked as a freelance writer for Die Zeit and Stern. From 2005 onward, he worked for the magazine of Süddeutsche Zeitung, where he edited the section “Sagen Sie jetzt nichts.” In 2007, MediumMagazin named him “Journalist of the Year,” and in 2008 he received the CNN Journalist Award in the print category.
