Urte Helduser (born 1969) is a scholar of German literature. She received her doctorate from the University of Kassel in 2003 and completed her habilitation at Philipps-Universität Marburg in 2014. Her academic career included positions at the University of Cologne, Philipps-Universität Marburg, and Leibniz Universität Hannover, where she also held visiting professorships. Her research focuses on literature and knowledge, aesthetics and poetics, drama and theatre, Austrian literature, and disability studies. Her publications include “Geschlechterprogramme. Konzepte der literarischen Moderne um 1900” (2005), “Imaginationen des Monströsen” (2016), and “Imaginationen des Ungeborenen” (2018, edited with Burkhard Dohm).
