Ursula Gast holds the qualification of Privatdozentin (PD Dr. med.) and is a specialist in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy as well as a psychoanalyst. From 2004 to 2009, she served as chief physician of the Clinic for Psychotherapeutic and Psychosomatic Medicine in Bielefeld.
